Like something you hate!

As in ‘Liking’ a post on social media! We are being fed more and more of what we ‘like’. The algorithms work towards keeping you on the platform as long as possible by feeding you content that you’ve already demonstrated that you like.

However, the danger is you become trapped in an echo chamber that you are not even aware of being in. The bias is towards views that are like your own or where everyone seems to be on the same page somehow.

Some great advice I got from a copywriter friend is to start ‘liking’ content that you hate! This pulls new content and viewpoints into your social media feed, and hopefully, a wider range of viewpoints.
